What are superfoods?

Superfoods are whole, natural foods that contain especially dense nutrition. Revered by indigionous communities for thousands of years, today’s superfoods are often the rediscovered secrets of ancient societies. Since these foods naturally contain nutrients that complement one another so well, we never tamper with nature’s wisdom. This means that our superfood products are highly bioavailable as nature intended.

Why add superfoods to my diet?

By definition, superfoods are low in calories and high in nutrients—meaning they pack a lot of punch for their weight. Recent concerns over growing conditions and soil quality that can compromise our food’s nutritional value highlight the fact that it’s now more important than ever to focus on organic, non-fortified produce. Organic superfoods provide a variety of important macronutrients and micronutrients including antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals— many of which we can’t make ourselves. 

What makes Sari Foods superfoods unique?

Sari means 'essence' in Balinese, and our mission is to bring you the "Essence of Food.” At Sari Foods, we’re delighted to offer nutritious superfoods with vitamins and minerals that come only from sustainably sourced raw ingredients, and that are also organic and additive free. We regularly test all our products to ensure only the highest standards, and we’re happy to make nature's whole foods accessible to everyone. How are your products processed?

Sari Foods uses minimal processing in order to preserve the vital nutrients in all our superfoods. You can find additional information about each of our foods by clicking on the link in the product pages to our individual product FAQs.

Why does the product vary from order to order?

As with any minimally-processed organic food, there can be a natural variance in appearance, scent, or flavor profile from crop to crop. Where are your products grown?

Do you offer sample products?

We do not currently offer samples of our products, but we do have a 30 day money back customer satisfaction guarantee. Try any product for 30 days and if you're unsatisfied for any reason during this period, you may return it for store credit (less shipping charges).

ORDERING

How do I place an order?

Customers who’d like  to purchase our products for personal use can order direct from our website. When ordering online, simply add the desired products to your cart and complete the checkout process. Once the order is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation via email. You can purchase Sari Foods superfoods directly through our website or through Amazon.com.

Can I add to my order once it’s been placed?

How do I track my order?

SHIPPING

What are your domestic shipping rates?

US orders:

• Standard shipping up to 1lb in weight is $3.50.
• Standard shipping for orders weighing 1lb - 5lb is $10 
• Heavy Duty shipping is $18 and is needed for orders weighing between 5lb - 20lb 

How long will my order take to arrive?

US Orders:

• Most orders within the USA ship within 1 business day via USPS.
• Standard shipping generally arrives within 2-7 business days.
• Expedited shipping generally arrives within 1-3 business days. 

CERTIFICATIONS

Are your products Organic?

Most of our products are certified organic.

Are your products Raw?

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure the lowest temperature processing for our premium superfoods. Almost all of our products are considered "raw," meaning they’re processed at low temperatures to retain as many nutrients as possible. 

Are your products non-GMO?

Yes, all our products are free of genetically modified ingredients.

Are your products Kosher?

Are your products Halal?

Yes. All our products meet Halal standards.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Are your products handled in a GMP facility?

Yes. All our products are handled in a GMP facility.

Does the facility handle allergens?

Our products are not manufactured with gluten, wheat, yeast, soy, milk, nuts, eggs, or shellfish, however,they are packaged in a facility that may handle these ingredients.

Are your products free from MSG?

Yes. Sari Foods products do not contain monosodium glutamate.

Do your products contain sulphites?

No. Sari Foods products do not contain any sulphites.

Do you offer contamination certificates for your products?

Yes we do. If you have a request for a contamination certificate please contact us via email on hello@sarifoods.co or call  800-590-8737 so we can arrange delivery of your certificate.

STORAGE

What is the shelf life of your products?

Most of our products have an 18-24 month shelf life. The ‘Best By’ stamp on the back of the bag can be read: Month/Day/Year.

How should Superfoods be stored?

Refrigeration is not required for most of our products. We recommend that you store superfoods in a cool, dark, dry place. Details can be found on the packaging of each product.

PACKAGING

What is your packaging made of?

Our packaging is made of BOPP/MPET/PE recyclable plastic. We would love to be able to use biodegradable, plant based materials and have made every effort to do so. Unfortunately, the current options are not strong enough to protect our superfoods from air and moisture—or to withstand the shipping process. We continue to investigate alternative options that encourage the most effective sustainability practices while offering our superfoods the best protection available. In the meantime we compromise by cutting down on unnecessary resources and consciously including as much information as we can on our labels so we don't waste materials on extra packaging that often ends up in the trash. This approach also applies to our shipping materials, so we don’t use extraneous boxes or leaflets.
