On a warm spring day there is nothing better than taking a moment to sit under the apple tree and listen to the birds with a bowl of something wholesome and healthy made from freshly picked ingredients bursting with goodness. Top it all off with a sprinkling of natural B vitamins and the savoury hit of Sari Foods Non-fortified Nutritional Yeast and your insides will be singing, your heart happy and your mind peaceful.
Ingredients: Serves 1
1 small Zucchini
1 handful Snow Peas
1 green garlic stem
tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp olive oil
1 heaping tbsp Sari Foods Non-fortifed Nutritional Yeast
Slice the green garlic, cut the zucchini into fingers and pick the thyme leaves from the stalks.
Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic and allow to cook for 30 seconds or so before adding the zucchini, snow peas and thyme. Sauté, stirring occasionally until the vegetables start to look golden. Turn off the heat and stir in Sari Foods Non-fortified Nutritional Yeast. Serve in to a bowl, grab a fork and go take a much deserved break under that apple tree.
