Nutritional yeast can be sprinkled on any vegetable (trust us, we've tried just about all of them), and due to its creamy taste, it pairs particularly well with cauliflower. These little poppers have been tossed in spices and nutritional yeast before being roasted to perfection for the perfect side dish or healthy snack.
You will need:
- 1 large cauliflower chopped into florets
- 3 tbsps Sari Foods Non-fortified Nutritional Yeast Flakes
- 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1/2 tsp Sari Foods Turmeric Powder
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
Preheat the oven to 415 degrees F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Add the cauliflower florets to a mixing bowl, drizzle over the olive oil, and sprinkle with nutritional yeast, Himalayan salt, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Stir and mix everything together until the cauliflower is well-coated.
Spread the cauliflower over the baking sheet in a single layer and roast in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cauliflower is golden-brown and slightly tender.
Remove from the oven and taste - add additional nutritional yeast if desired and serve with chopped pistachios or your favorite nuts (optional). Serve alongside your main dish or enjoy as a healthful snack.
