Is your wheatgrass whole food based or is it a wheatgrass juice powder?

Sari Foods Organic Wheatgrass is a pure wheatgrass powder. Unlike wheatgrass juice powders (where wheatgrass is juiced then dried to a powder), our powder utilizes the entire leaf which allows us to capture the natural fiber that promotes digestion and even helps to keep you fuller for longer.

Why choose whole food based and naturally occurring organic wheatgrass? Whole foods have a complex nutritional makeup rich in beneficial micro and macronutrients that our bodies can more readily recognize and extract.

How much Vitamin C is in one serving of your Natural Vitamin C powder?

How is your Natural Vitamin C powder dried?

Our Natural Vitamin C powder is spray dried in order to form the finest powder possible with the highest nutrient level.

What does the Vitamin C powder taste like?

Sari Foods Natural Vitamin C from acerola cherries is neutral in taste making it easy to incorporate into your everyday diet. The Acerola Cherry has a tart cherry taste rather than a sweet cherry taste and blends easily in with other flavors.

I see on the ingredients that your Natural Vitamin C powder contains Organic Maltodextrin. I didn't think you could get organic maltodextrin, could you please give more information?

There is indeed a very small amount (around 1%) of organic maltodextrin in our Natural Vitamin C powder from Organic Acerola Cherries. We use organic, non-GMO maltodextrin which is a carbohydrate and natural starch derived from organic manioc. In our case, it is necessary to be used as a natural drying agent to allow the Acerola cherries to be formed into the fine powder you see in your bag. Our maltodextrin ingredient is a safe and all natural ingredient.

Are your products Raw?

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure the lowest temperature processing for our premium superfoods. Almost all of our products are considered "raw" meaning they are low temperature processed to retain as many nutrients as possible.

Are your products non-GMO?

Yes, all our products are free of genetically modified ingredients.

Are your products Kosher?

All our ingredients are to kosher standards. Further information for each product is available by following the link in the product pages to our individual product FAQ's.

Are your products Halal?

All our products meet Halal standards, they do not contain or come into contact with foods that are not Halal.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Are your products manufactured with allergens?

All of our products are handled in a GMP facility. Our products are not manufactured with gluten, wheat, yeast, soy, milk, nuts, eggs or shellfish. They are packaged in a facility which may handle these ingredients.

What is the shelf life on your products?

Most of our products have an 18-24 month shelf life. The ‘Best By’ stamp on the back of the bag can be read: Month/Day/Year.

How should Superfoods be stored?

Refrigeration is not required for most of our products. We recommend that you store superfoods in a cool, dark, dry place. Details can be found on the packaging of each product.
