Customer Support Assistant
As a leading superfoods company, we are looking to hire an experienced, self-motivated and incredibly driven individual. The successful candidate will be someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, yet as part of our growing team to collaborate and get things done. This customer support role is full time, and on an ongoing basis. We need someone who is thorough and who thrives on output, results, organization and excellence.
The ideal person will have great customer support skills and enjoy both the alternative health scene and helping customers (from the really happy ones to the not so happy ones). This role will involve significant customer interaction (both via email and phone) as well as the opportunity to contribute to administrative and operational support.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, efficient and fast paced. There really is no such thing as a typical day around here - there are long and short term projects and many kinds of inquiries on which to follow up. You must be able to juggle many things at once without dropping a single one.
Since most of our customer interactions are written, it is essential that you have excellent writing skills. We need someone who can communicate clearly and concisely in writing and who understands the importance of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. If you cringe when you see a typo in a book or news article - we are looking for you!
The hours are flexible, but include weekday as well as weekend assigned customer service shifts to expand our customer support coverage as we continue to grow.
