Easy Wheatgrass Chia Pudding
Unleash your inner warrior with a mighty wheatgrass and chia breakfast pairing! With oodles of fiber and healthy fats, this savory-sweet wheatgrass chia pudding is easy to make and will keep you satiated until your next meal.
Our creamy recipe gets its green goodness from our organic wheatgrass powder. Unlike wheatgrass juice powders (where wheatgrass is juiced and then dried to a powder), we also preserve all of the fiber from the leaves, for whole food nutrition as nature intended.
This yummy pudding also contains chia seeds, which have been highly prized for thousands of years. Chia means "strength" in the Mayan language—and in ancient times these small seeds became popular with runners and warriors, who would use them as fuel while running and during battle. Our recipe makes two servings, so you can share the superfood magic with a friend—or just save a bowl for the next day.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup chia seeds
- 1 tsp Sari Foods Organic Wheatgrass Powder
- Maple syrup or honey to taste (optional)
Place all ingredients into a large jar, secure lid, and shake vigorously until well combined. Refrigerate overnight and serve with fresh fruit.
Peace, love, and healthy mornings from the Sari Foods family.
